Dougie Dolittle

When animal-phobic teenager Dougie Dolittle has a chance meeting with Polly, the family’s long-lost parrot, she unlocks his innate talent: Dougie can talk to and understand animals! Finding this gift more like a curse, Dougie must learn to overcome his fears in order to help his newfound animal friends take down the unscrupulous pet food company Kingcorps, save the town from rampaging giant zoo animals, and ultimately accept his legacy.

“Dougie Dolittle” offers a fresh, modern twist on the beloved theme of talking to animals connecting a new generation to the legacy of Doctor Dolittle through the story of his grandson, Dougie. The film explores themes of self-discovery, finding one’s place in the world, and fostering a connection with the environment, creating an engaging and inspiring experience for audiences of all ages.
